Getting There

Please read this page as it's the one part of the day that needs a bit of planning ahead.

Road closure between Leura and Little Hartley

There is a road closure affecting the route between St Bonaventure's Church (Leura) and the reception in Little Hartley. So if you're driving, you'll need to take the detour noted further below. Please don't rely on the default directions from Google Maps on the day (Google Maps will send you all the way through Lithgow!).

Minibuses

For those celebrating in style, you don't have to drive. We're putting on minibuses between the ceremony and the reception, and back again afterwards. You can leave the car behind and not worry about collecting it the next day. Everyone is welcome to use the minibuses.

Outbound trips

There are two buses going to the reception, so take whichever suits you.

Option 13:00pm from St Bonaventure's — straight after the ceremony, direct to the reception.
Option 24:00pm from Blackheath station — from the commuter car park (see the pick-up point in Google Maps). This one may suit you if you'd like to check into your hotel after the ceremony before coming on.

Return trips

The detour — go via Hartley Vale Road

For those driving to the reception, don't set your navigation straight to Bonnie Blink House, or it will try to send you through Lithgow. Instead, drive to the top of Hartley Vale Road first, and go down from there.

  1. Navigate to the start of Hartley Vale Roadopen the turn-off in Google Maps. It's signposted Hartley Vale Rd.
  2. Turn in and follow Hartley Vale Road all the way down. It's a country road, so take your time — but it is the right road, and it brings you out in Hartley Vale.
  3. Once you're in Hartley Vale, navigate to Bonnie Blink House and follow it the rest of the way.
