The Blue Mountains gets busy, especially on weekends, so we'd recommend booking accommodation as early as you can.
Where to stay
Leura — closest to the church, walkable to cafes and shops, very good location for catching the 3:00pm minibus.
Katoomba — five minutes from Leura, with a wider range of hotels and food options.
Blackheath — particularly good location if you're catching the 4:00pm minibus, great range of cafes and little stores, plenty of accommodation options.
Little Hartley / Hartley — closest to the reception, useful if you'd rather not travel too far at the end of the night. Not many accommodation options so you may have to book soon — Airbnb can be good here.
Lithgow — short trip home at the end of the night. Quite a few accommodation options.
Getting around
If you'd prefer to take public transport, trains run regularly from Sydney up to the Mountains, stopping at Leura, Katoomba, Medlow Bath, Blackheath, Mount Victoria and Lithgow.
There's no train to Little Hartley, so if you're not driving, our minibuses are the easiest way to get to the reception and back. Times and stops are on the Getting There page.
